Conveyancing is the legal process by which ownership of a property is transferred from the seller to the buyer. The process ensures that the purchaser actually owns all the property, land and rights which they have paid for.
As a first time buyer it is important to engage a Solicitor as house buying can be stressful for all concerned and can be complicated process. You should engage a Solicitor once you have had an offer accepted on the house you wish to buy and you should also give him details of your mortgage which you have arranged through a Financial Advisor or your Bank/Building Society.
