The former Croydon crib of veteran funnyman Ronnie Corbett is on the market for a none too risible £2.7m.

The seven-bed Croydon crib backs onto a golf course which might explain why the diminutive national treasure stayed there for 35 years.

Apparently the guy who lives there now had wanted to name the house after the celeb stand-up, but he declined. Och let him Ron… do Ron Ron.
